About the role
- JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE: School Tech Coordinator DEPARTMENT: Good Shepherd School SUPERVISOR: School Principal TIME COMMITMENT: 186 Hours for the 2026-2027 Academic School Year (approx.
- This position oversees sound, lighting, and multimedia operations for regular chapel gatherings, elective classes, and special productions such as the Christmas Program, Ram Gala, and Graduation ceremonies.
- The Coordinator ensures that students and staff are equipped with reliable, well-prepared technical environments that enhance communication, worship, and celebration.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical setup, sound, and media support during the school year for:
- Training & Support:
- Receives training, support and collaboration from the Worship/Production Department
- Collaborates closely with the School Administration for event planning and scheduling
- Provide ongoing support and development in live production, technical systems, and event management
- Support program rehearsals
- Manage A/V setup and technical rehearsals
- Provide live production support during the event
- Lead setup and run sound/media for graduation rehearsal and ceremony
- Support Preschool Christmas Program and Graduation as needed
Requirements
- Experience or training in media tech
- Able to work well with a team
- Maintain a heart of service and excellence that honors Christ in all technical work
- Encourage and equip students and staff in worship and community through faithful technical support
