About the role
- The MRI Technologist II must adapt to changes in technology, new imaging techniques, and safe and effective imaging practices for patients with and without medical implants.
- These implants include pacemakers, nerve stimulation devices and electronic pumps that can cause severe injury and or death within the MRI environment.

Requirements
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ARMRIT, or certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), ARRT MRI Certification required.
Nice to have
- Two years of MRI experience preferred.
Skills
- For staff holding an ARRT license, advanced MRI specific certification by ARRT is required.
- CE compliant according to governing body guidelines.
- BLS certified.
- Safety requirements for employment in the MRI department:
- MRI scanners use strong magnetic fields to obtain images.
- All staff working in the MRI department must be screened prior to hiring to ensure their safety in the work environment.
- and all devices run with a battery or Bluetooth).
- This is a bargaining union position.
- The MRI Tech II possess an advanced skill level and can function within the MRI department, performing a variety of responsibilities.

- Salary Range: Min $40.82 Mid $52.61 Max $64.40
