We're seeking an Account Executive to represent the full breadth of MacDonald-Miller's capabilities, with a strong focus on selling building control systems to architects, MEP consultants, and construction contractors in the Portland commercial market.
This role also plays a key part in ensuring the quality and value of our services, helping drive high levels of client satisfaction.
People Guide and support engineers, estimators, project managers, and field personnel throughout project phases.
Increase sales volume and profit margins while ensuring the company can effectively deliver on commitments.
Develop and acquire new customer accounts.
Lead and motivate a collaborative team across diverse projects and initiatives to support our growing business.
Develop and execute strategies to maximize sales opportunities in your assigned geographic or vertical market, while effectively partnering with both internal and external stakeholders.

What kind of person will thrive in this role?
A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or mechanical engineering (preferred).
A proven track record in negotiating sales, achieving profit margins, and managing commitments successfully.
A practical understanding of mechanical systems and a strong focus on customer service.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in selling or hands-on field experience with installing Building Controls within the Plan & Spec or Retrofit market.
Excellent verbal, written, listening, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
