Responsibilities
- The position requires travel / support to both of our Oetker NY locations (Lancaster & Batavia).
- It drives continuous improvement initiatives, and fosters a strong safety culture, zero-accident mindset in the organization.
- Lead Audits (Internal & External) and respond to non-conformances identified.
- Develop, implement, and manage HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
- Lead incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Coordinate and deliver HSE training for employees and contractors.
- Drive programs that build a proactive safety culture.
- Lead Safety Team Committee Meetings.
- Lead Emergency Response planning and drills.
- Support / ensure emergency equipment is maintained.
Requirements
- Maintains all required permits, records, and reporting in a timely manner.
Compensation
- $60,000 - $75,000
- Key contact for Insurance Company and employees on Workers Compensation cases.
- Schedules annual audio testing, tracks, and reports as needed any recordables
