Responsibilities

  • Support the Tax team with data requests related to RIC and other tax compliance requirements.
  • Adams Street Partners' methodology to calculate Assets Under Management (AUM) is based on fund net asset value (NAV), plus unfunded commitments, plus leverage, but excluding the effect of subscription lines of credit.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting is required.
  • 3-6 years of relevant fund accounting experience, preferably within private equity, private credit, or fund administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat.

Nice to have

  • Experience with registered investment company (RIC) or business development company (BDC) accounting preferred.
  • Exposure to public company financial reporting or related SEC filings is a plus.
  • CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.

Compensation

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting packages, as well as materials provided to the Fund Administrator.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual SEC reporting requirements in accordance with GAAP, including preparation of supporting schedules and footnote disclosures.
