About the role
- Plans, directs and coordinates activities relating to the materials department activities including safety, quality, productivity and employee relations.
Responsibilities
- Leads process improvement projects: productivity, quality, ergonomics, etc.
- Collaborates with the Department and HR Managers in administering disciplinary action, when necessary.
- Maintains employees' time related to the Attendance and Time-Off Policies Provides timely feedback on work performance and performance reviews.
Requirements
- 3+ years of materials supervisory experience or 5+ years materials team leadership experience in a tier-one automotive manufacturing facility.

- Excellent problem solving and leadership skills
- Detail oriented and excellent documentation skills
- Working knowledge of safety standards and OSHA guidelines
- Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MRP
Compensation
- $55,675.68 - $81,658.04
