About the role

Provide a high level of customer service while ensuring quotes are distributed to customers in a timely fashion.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Prepares formal quotations and submittals under the direction of estimators and sales team

Manage and source pricing for items across Core & Main's scope of work on contractor projects, meeting internal and external deadlines to generate quotations that comply with specifications and/or customer requirements.
Manages incoming RFQs, working with the sales team and the customer to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction
Support the Critical Infrastructure Group by providing technical information and product knowledge.

Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
Generally, 2+ years of experience in the waterworks industry
Experience preparing and pricing quotes for contractors, preferably on large heavy/civil and/or treatment plant projects
Experience reviewing construction plans and specifications as needed during the process of preparing customer quotations
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Located in a comfortable indoor area.
Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
