Responsibilities

  • The Division of Student Affairs is seeking an undergraduate student worker to support the AU Market Food Pantry program to mitigate food insecurity issues on campus with the Student Engagement team.
  • Assist with pantry distribution days (drive-thru and in-pantry stocking and inventory).
  • Work with Coordinator to support The Market Social Media accounts keep Instagram updated and engaging.
  • Work with groups on campus to bring awareness to the Market and partner for special programs.
  • Create and present presentations to small groups, classes, or at the request of stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Personal integrity, honesty, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Compensation

  • $18.40 per hour.

Benefits

  • Stock pantry shelves and track food pantry inventory for weekly and monthly reports and inform Coordinator for Student Support of low food stock.
  • Assist with deliveries from the Capital Area Food Bank and other vendors used to stock The Market.
