About the role

  • In this position, you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans for our space and airborne products.
  • These products are packaged electronic assemblies, ranging from component-level single-board computers and phased array antennas to payload-level integrated communication systems.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
  • Participate in "design for test" planning and review from the early stages of RF product development.
  • Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to support the full product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with design and test engineering teams to develop test requirements, map requirements to reusable test architectures and procedures, implement test plans and procedures, and log and present results to key stakeholders.
  • Understanding of RF and mixed-signal hardware (e.g. amplifiers, filters, ADCs/DACs, antennas) and its effects on test design.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Science or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited university.
  • 2+ years of relevant industry or research experience covering several of the responsibilities listed.
  • Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, and vector signal analyzers.
  • Working knowledge of RF measurements, test equipment (VSAs, VSGs, VNAs, etc.), test architectures, and automation.
