About the role
- Working within an a gile methodology, th is individual will facilitate sprint planning, quarterly planning, stand up meetings, and other foundational meetings to ensure project alignment and momentum.
- Act as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children.
- Understand Christ's mandate to protect children.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion's internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur.
- Use discretion and judgement to lead or support project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management on basic projects.
- May provide expertise to other professionals and support staff in the project management discipline.
- Apply professional project management skills to plan, monitor and manage projects from initiation through completion.
- This includes developing assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project.
Requirements
- The Project Manager will secure required resources and apply formal project management processes and tools to manage timelines, budgets, risks, and change control.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies including working in Sprints and performing backlog refinement.
Nice to have
- Three years relevant experience as a project manager
- experience managing projects in marketing contexts strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience using a project management system for project/program/portfolio management
- Workfront experience preferred.
Compensation
- The expected salary range for this position is $69,600.00 - $81,780.00.
