About the role

  • Monitor daily production performance; complete and communicate shift reports and post production goals and results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all manufacturing operations during the assigned shift, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Maintain accurate employee records including attendance, training, discipline, and accident reports; review and approve employee time in ADP.
  • Drive performance management by setting objectives, coaching direct reports, and conducting evaluations within the Performance Management System.
  • Mentor and develop team members through clear expectations, regular feedback, and a collaborative leadership approach.
  • Own equipment efficiency, order throughput, and customer fulfillment performance for the assigned area.
  • Partner with management to support recruiting, onboarding, and training activities to meet staffing plans.
  • Perform light material handling, including forklift operation, to support manufacturing operations as needed.
  • Manage inventory of non‑BOM expensed items; oversee Kanban programs and ensure availability of manufacturing supplies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead across all organizational levels.
  • Proven team‑building capability with a focus on hiring, developing, and retaining results‑driven employees aligned with Omnicell values.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with an ERP system.
  • Experience supporting internal and/or external Quality or EHS audits.
  • Ability to work overtime as business needs require.
  • Conduct audits in support of Omnicell's Safety, Quality, and Inventory Accuracy programs Required Knowledge & Skills Strong working knowledge of Quality Control systems and manufacturing best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Nice to have

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • In‑depth working knowledge of SAP MM‑PP.
  • This role provides hands‑on leadership for production and logistics personnel, ensuring safe, compliant, and high‑performing operations aligned with Omnicell's manufacturing strategy.
