Responsibilities
- structural analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of commercial & industrial projects
- Design of steel, concrete, and masonry commercial/institutional, federal and Industrial buildings, both in new and existing construction.
- Lead design team efforts
- Manage project team for budget and schedule control
- Develop fee and qualification-based proposals
- Collaborate with the architect, owner, and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of structural drawings.
- Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Desire to lead inter-disciplinary projects and project teams
Requirements
- Coffman Engineers is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with ten to fifteen years of experience for our Orlando, Florida office. challenging and rewarding opportunity within a dynamic and progressive firm.
- Design experience with light gage steel and timber is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint software preferred.
- B.S. degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program required.
- Experience with computer software programs and analysis systems (such as RISA, AutoCAD, Revit, RamSS, Etabs, Enercalc, etc.).
