About the role

  • The supervisor ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety, environmental standards, sanitation, and work quality.
  • Additionally, the supervisor upholds high management and production standards to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching, development, training, and management support to the packaging team and Shift Supervisors to ensure organizational goals are met.
  • Develop a basic operational understanding of all departments within the facility with special focus on fermentation and packaging.
  • Manage and allocate site utilities in the event of process disruptions or curtailments.
  • Be the plant resource for DCS/HMI optimization and improvements to maintain efficiency and production/packaging rates.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of 5S
  • Experience in Process Improvement, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and make decisions using business metrics and data.
  • Must be able to collect data on department metrics and create/maintain charts and graphs in Excel.
  • A pre-employment background check will be required.
