About the role

The supervisor ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety, environmental standards, sanitation, and work quality.
Additionally, the supervisor upholds high management and production standards to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Address employee issues and concerns, fostering engagement and a positive work environment.

Provide coaching, development, training, and management support to the packaging team and Shift Supervisors to ensure organizational goals are met.
Develop a basic operational understanding of all departments within the facility with special focus on fermentation and packaging.
Manage and allocate site utilities in the event of process disruptions or curtailments.
Be the plant resource for DCS/HMI optimization and improvements to maintain efficiency and production/packaging rates.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Strong working knowledge of 5S
Experience in Process Improvement, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen.
Ability to collect, analyze, and make decisions using business metrics and data.
Must be able to collect data on department metrics and create/maintain charts and graphs in Excel.
A pre-employment background check will be required.
