Responsibilities

Manager, Operational Finance to support financial and operational decision-making through reporting, analytics, process improvement, and business transformation initiatives.
This role partners across Finance, Sales, Operations, Product, and Technology to improve business visibility, drive scalable solutions, and support company growth.
Own the operational and financial performance management reporting cadence, building and delivering accurate reporting packages that track KPIs, monitor variance to plan, and support both internal decision-making and recurring external reporting requirements for executive and investor audiences
Partner cross-functionally with department leaders and project teams to ensure accurate financial data and identify operational enhancements that drive the execution of strategic business transformation initiatives
Build ad-hoc financial analyses and models to support emerging business needs, including cloud infrastructure costs, vendor economics, and other cross-functional operational questions, and translate findings into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving mentality with the ability to work through ambiguity and build solutions from the ground up

Requirements

Proficiency in SQL or relational databases
familiarity with BI tools
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive "figure it out" mindset.

Nice to have

8+ years of progressive experience, primarily in FP&A, accounting, or finance roles, with broader experience across business operations also considered.
Experience in the AdTech, SaaS, or digital media industry a plus.
CPA, MBA, and/or CMA a plus
BS/BA in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field

Compensation

In accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant's reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role.
Final title and compensation for the position will be based on several factors including work experience and education.
$150,000 - $175,000
