Responsibilities
- Act as the on-duty lead for security officers, providing direction and support during assigned shifts.
- Support the execution of security protocols, procedures, and regulations across the facility.
- Compliance & Documentation Support:
- Support audit preparation by ensuring documentation and daily activities meet compliance standards.
- Incident Response Support:
- Support investigations by gathering information, reviewing footage, and reporting findings.
- Partner with management to help identify operational improvements and security risks.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to remain alert and focused for long shifts, including overnight hours if needed.
- Ensure security logs, incident reports, and required documentation are completed accurately and on time.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in security or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience in a regulated industry (cannabis, pharmaceutical, retail, etc.) is a plus.
