Responsibilities

Performs electroencephalogram (EEG) on patients to get a recording of their brain activity through repeated cycles and notify the physician if anything appears wrong.
Attach EEG leads to correct areas so that the reading can be performed appropriately.
Check, test and maintain EEG equipment, making any minor adjustments to ensure proper operation.

Requirements

Prefer associate degree from an AMA accredited institution or graduate of an approved EEG program Required
Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Knowledge of human behavior and performance
The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
The ability to identify and understand the speech of another person.
The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations).
H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) High School diploma or equivalent Required
