About the role
- Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Patient Care: 1.
- Provides personal care including baths, shampoo, shave, back rub, position changes, makes beds, prepares patients for meals, feeds patients, and passes ice water.
- Answers call lights and bells promptly to meet patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Administers enemas and douches as indicated and documents appropriately.
- Assist with oxygen support and incentive spirometer.
- Performs nursing functions requiring skills and judgement (supervised by RN).
- Maintains and records and reports necessary information in regard to patient care.
- Maintains a safe environment for patient care.
