Responsibilities
- Perform industry-level analyses, including market data research, speaking to industry experts, and attending industry conferences to inform the investment process and provide critical context
- Build out company models, perform valuation analysis, and analyze returns sensitivities

Requirements
- Strong academic credentials (BS/BA from highly regarded institution) and a demonstrated track record of successful work experience
- 2-3 years of experience with an investment banking or venture capital/private equity firm
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to synthesize complicated analyses concisely and to articulate insightful conclusions compellingly.
- As a small team, each team member takes on a high degree of responsibility across the investment process.
- Strong interest in insurance and financial institutions
- A fundamental, analytically driven approach to investing with strong analytical/modeling capability
- Ability to work collaboratively in team environments and strong relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to synthesize complicated analyses concisely and to articulate insightful conclusions compellingly. Open to spirited debate over ideas.
