Requirements
- 5+ years in a diesel engine manufacturing or test facility OR Associate's degree in Diesel Mechanics Technology or similar field
- Experience reading wiring and mechanical schematics (prints)
- High proficiency of PC skills including Microsoft office applications
- Listed experience OR a Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing or engineering related field
- Any current agency workers applying to this position must have worked the required 300 hours in order to be considered as well as meeting all requirements for the position.
- Associate's/Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing or engineering related field
- 2+ years of experience working with bill of materials and engine assembly or diesel mechanics
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Creo, etc.)
Compensation
- Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
- Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
- Starting hourly pay rate of $27.20 (pay negotiations based on skills/experience)
