About the role
- We're looking for a strong, detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to support EMIT Technologies' mechanical design efforts as an individual contributor. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing accurate, manufacturable mechanical designs that meet customer requirements and support efficient production. You'll work hands-on in SolidWorks and
- collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Management to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions that contribute to EMIT's long-term growth.
Requirements
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and mechanical design best practices
- Experience working cross-functionally with production, quality, supply chain, and project teams
- Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, design-for-manufacturability, and revision control
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and standardization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Compensation
- $65,000 - $90,000 USD
