About the role
- We are looking for a Community Marketing Manager who will build a community of affiliates, creators, and patient advocates that finds undiagnosed patients and gets them genetic testing.
Responsibilities
- Turn our existing patient community into a referral engine, building the program infrastructure, incentives, and outreach that keeps them engaged and referring
- Develop strategic relationships with patient advocacy groups and foundations and find creative ways to partner with them to get more patients to genetic testing
- Own Probably Genetic's organic social presence. Create and post content that educates patients, builds community, and earns trust in the rare disease space
- Capture authentic patient stories, working sensitively with patients to share their diagnostic journey, then publishing them across our website, social channels, and partner networks to reach others who may still be undiagnosed
- Partners and community members never feel left hanging
- Our data platform is used by drug developers and patient advocacy groups to develop and launch treatments for these patients.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in community marketing, influencer partnerships, affiliate marketing, or social media
- you can communicate a mission compellingly, draw out authentic patient stories, and know what will resonate on social before you post it
- Experience working at an early-stage startup
Compensation
- The salary range for this role is $95k-$120k annually.
