About the role
- Arena Investors, LP, is a global investment management firm that seeks to generate attractive risk-adjusted, consistent, and uncorrelated returns.
- Arena is looking to expand the SLS team.
- This individual will be a key early member on a small growing team with the opportunity to play a meaningful and impactful role in the evolution of the SLS strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead Origination & Execution: Drive the entire deal lifecycle, from initial business development and negotiation with counterparties to building comprehensive cashflow models, drafting investment memos, and overseeing legal documentation and post-closing activities.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Oversee junior team members, providing guidance and support while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Drive Business Development: Play a key role in identifying and pursuing new investment opportunities
- Drive the entire deal lifecycle, from initial business development and negotiation with counterparties to building comprehensive cashflow models, drafting investment memos, and overseeing legal documentation and post-closing activities.
- Oversee junior team members, providing guidance and support while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Arena launched its Secondaries & Liquidity Solutions (SLS) strategy in 2022 which focuses on secondary transactions to provide liquidity solutions to limited partners, funds, and directly to companies.
- In this role, this individual will drive the sourcing, due diligence, execution, and monitoring of SLS investments.
Requirements
- Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Results-Oriented & Collaborative: A strong work ethic, a collaborative spirit, and ability to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Nice to have
- Master's degree preferred, but a Bachelor's degree with relevant professional experience is acceptable.
