Responsibilities
- Your leadership, guidance, and expertise will help crews deliver exceptional service while empowering others to achieve greater independence through work.
- Bi-Weekly Paid Training Provided What You'll Do Lead the Crew Supervise and mentor individuals participating in The Arc's Community Janitorial Services program.
- Provide hands-on instruction that helps crew members build confidence, workplace skills, and greater independence.
- Monitor completed work and provide constructive feedback to maintain consistent service quality.
- Represent The Arc of Ocean County professionally while building positive relationships with customers and community partners.
- Support Program Success Assist with documenting daily activities, participant progress, and operational information.
- Encourage individuals to develop transferable employment skills that promote long-term success in the workforce.
- Contribute to a program that creates meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience required.
- Experience performing floor care procedures, including stripping, waxing, and maintaining large floor surfaces required.
- Must successfully complete all required state and federal background screenings and hiring requirements.
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is welcomed but not required.
