Responsibilities

  • Create intuitive user experiences by transforming concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Identify design problems and devise user-centric solutions.
  • Present designs to stakeholders and non-technical audiences. Advocate for the user and human-centered design methods among clients and internal teams.
  • Implement the U.S. Digital Service Playbook and U.S. Web Design Standards' guiding principles.
  • A portfolio to showcase a sharp eye for detail, robust design process, and visual aesthetics.
  • Familiarity with Pega design systems
  • A curated in-office experience designed to foster community, team connections, and innovation
  • Training and development programs that build new skills and prepare you for leadership roles
  • To maintain the integrity of this process, the use of AI tools at any stage of the application or interview is strictly prohibited.

Requirements

  • At least eight years of experience as a UX designer on product teams in a professional environment
  • Experience designing solutions within complex service environments
  • Experience working in agile development environments
  • Knowledge of Web Accessibility Standards and (preferably Section 508 experience)
  • Ability to work independently and produce excellent results despite technical limitations and time constraints
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years
  • Experience with CMS Marketplace eligibility and appeal processing
  • Experience with contact center operations
  • Experience with case management workflows
