- This role is focused on owning and improving the foundation of our data - ensuring that what we track, store, and analyze is complete, reliable, and easy to use.
Responsibilities
- Own and continuously elevate ShopMy's data foundation, ensuring data is reliable, scalable, and easy to use
- Design, build, and maintain data models and pipelines in Snowflake
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and validation systems to proactively identify data and product issues
- Improve data usability and accessibility across the business and support BI on a strong foundation
- Conduct analyses to identify and quantify opportunities to improve product performance and drive business impact
- Partner with Product and Engineering on tracking strategy, feature development, and product performance

Requirements
- You know how to dig into data systems, identify gaps, inconsistencies, and inefficiencies, and take action to fix them.
- 3+ years of experience in Data & Analytics with relevant industry experience (E-commerce, SaaS, Agencies, Social, or similar)
- Strong experience with business intelligence tools, data modeling, and data visualization
- Experience with experimentation and measurement (A/B testing, incrementality, attribution)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python or similar) for analysis and automation
- Experience with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Heap, Mixpanel, or similar)
- Expert SQL skills with experience working with large, complex datasets, building pipelines, and operating within modern data warehouses
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a highly resourceful, self-directed working style
- Comfortable working in ambiguity, prioritizing effectively, and collaborating with technical stakeholders
- Motivated to take ownership as an early member of a growing data team
