Responsibilities

  • Analyzes, simulates, designs/modifies, and develops simple analog and mixed-signal circuits under the direction of an experienced engineer or manager
  • Assists in the evaluation, modification and development of hardware specifications. 6. Works with Manufacturing and Purchasing, and PCB fabrication partners to procure new component samples and validate components through the manufacturing process.
  • Works with technicians to write practical and effective test plans, execute and support tests, troubleshoot, documents test results, and conduct reviews according to established processes.
  • Evaluate changes to components, PCB assemblies, and specifications in established, mixed-signal, high/low-voltage designs against established performance and functional requirements.
  • Conducts design reviews to demonstrate adequacy of solutions against established requirements.

Nice to have

  • Analog simulation experience
  • Working knowledge of soldering techniques, and electronics lab equipment. bologna
  • Embedded systems troubleshooting experience.
  • 3-phase electric power systems -- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA/Confluence)
  • High level coursework/knowledge of statistical process controls
  • Knowledge of EMC and Safety Testing concepts

Compensation

  • We anticipate filling this position as an Associate Hardware Engineer $84,000 - $124,000 per year.
  • Our compensation ranges are based on the responsibilities of the role.
  • Starting pay is determined individually and considers factors such as relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and training.
  • As a result, pay may vary to align with the level of the role.
