Responsibilities

  • Lead preparation and review of SEC filings and disclosure deliverables, including Form 10-K, 10- Q, 8-K, and registration statements; coordinate disclosure checklists and XBRL tagging.
  • Develop, update, and communicate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls, drive SOX remediation and control testing where applicable.
  • Partner with FP&A and accounting teams to prepare reconciliations, roll forwards, EPS calculations, and supporting schedules for external reporting.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and assist audit committee preparation and responses to audit requests.
  • Monitor and interpret new FASB, SEC, and industry guidance; lead implementation projects for new accounting standards and deliver training to stakeholders.
  • Provide day-to-day technical accounting support to business partners on transactions, contracts, and system implementations.
  • AEVEX uses agile and customized approaches to rapidly define, develop, and deliver specialized solutions for airborne special mission needs for the U.S. Government, partner nations, and commercial businesses.

Compensation

  • $196,000 - $220,300 USD
