About the role

  • The Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM), established in 1969, is a premier institution dedicated to advancing the field of aviation maintenance through exceptional education and training.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general/routine and preventative maintenance for the campus.
  • Perform cleaning activities such as cleaning floors, dusting, disposing of trash properly, etc. to ensure upkeep of the building and campus property.
  • Monitor and maintain parking lot to ensure it is free of trash, hazards and debris
  • Perform and complete other job-related duties, assignments, special projects as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Must be able to comply with and adhere to safety standards and requirements.
  • Must be able to work independently and as collaborative team member and have exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills are required with proficiency in MS Office applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams, internet access and research, ordering materials online.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

Nice to have

  • Trade School Certification (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.) in any/all the related field's a plus.
  • Trades skills certificates (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.) a plus.

Compensation

  • Compensation: Up to $22/hour
