About the role
- The Engineering Intern will support the engineering team with project work, process improvements, and day‑to‑day operational support.
- This role provides hands‑on exposure to manufacturing and engineering environments while developing practical skills in problem‑solving, data analysis, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data to support engineering initiatives and operational decisions
- Support troubleshooting efforts for equipment, processes, or quality issues
- Update and maintain engineering documentation, work instructions, and SOPs
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Operations, Quality, and Maintenance
- Perform other duties as assigned to support site and team objectives
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, or related field)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work effectively in a team and take direction from multiple stakeholders
Nice to have
- Prior internship or co‑op experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts
- Experience with data analysis or technical documentation
- Hands‑on engineering experience in a real‑world manufacturing environment
- Exposure to cross‑functional teams and operational decision‑making
- Mentorship from experienced engineers and leaders
