About the role

Our test kitchens have the most current cooking equipment replicating that used in commercial establishments, to facilitate precision testing.

Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment
Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
Perform Equipment change-over's and production line set up
General Housekeeping - maintain tools, shop area and parts storage in good working order

Mechanically inclined and have manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
Experience in a Food Processing Facility is an asset
Ability to read, write and comprehend English
High degree of flexibility and adaptability to take up additional duties and cross-train
To carry out equipment and building repairs as required, while adhering to quality, safety, food safety and legislative standards and guidelines.
Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
Perform other duties as required.
Completion and Possession of a red-seal Interprovincial Millwright Ticket.
Able to work flexible shifts.
Be success-driven and have a "can do" attitude
Be able to work independently, as well as being a strong team player
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Have a good attendance and safety record
