Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and implement nutritious, appealing menus that meet residents' dietary needs and physician-ordered diets.
  • Maintain food quality, sanitation, and infection control standards.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and department budgets.
  • We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and organized Dietary Director to lead our dietary department in a welcoming assisted living community.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutrition for older adults.
  • Familiarity with state and federal dietary regulations.
  • If you have a passion for senior care, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences, we'd love to hear from you!
  • Previous experience as a Dietary Director, Food Service Manager, or similar leadership role in assisted living, long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.
