Employer immigration record

from this employer's Department of Labor filings

Green-card filing pattern in this occupation

Context, not a finding about this posting: of this employer's 106 green-card filings in this occupation, 99% were for a worker who already held the job.

Green-card follow-through: 55%

Of 56 labor certifications old enough to have been used, 25 expired without the employer filing the next step. Median time from filing to decision: 482 days.99% of their filings were for a worker who already held the job.Only certifications past the 180-day window are counted — recent ones cannot have expired yet.

Files H-1B transfers

163 transfer filings in the last year, covering 1450 workers. Median labor-condition decision: 7 days. An employer that already files transfers is one that can take over an existing H-1B.

Sourced from Department of Labor LCA, PERM and prevailing-wage disclosure data. Employer matching is by name, so figures may be split across an employer's legal entities. Absence of a filing means none appears in our copy of the data, not that none exists.

About the role

  • Databricks works with founders from the earliest days of their companies, when it is still just a team, an idea, and a lot of unproven AI.
  • You will work closely with Databricks Ventures.
  • This role is built to grow: you will start close to the program, the founders, and the events, and over time, take on more of the relationships and the strategy for how Databricks engages the startup ecosystem end-to-end.

Responsibilities

  • Run the startup program: Own the day-to-day operations of the program, including applicant intake, evaluation, scoring, routing, and offer decisions, with precise tracking of every applicant, commitment, and outcome.
  • Bring programmatic discipline: Own the trackers, the automation, the quality bar, and the follow-through so that nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Run founder and investor events: Design and run a regular calendar of founder and investor gatherings in San Francisco, including dinners, workshops, office hours, and demo-day tie-ins.
  • Partner with the events and platform teams at leading venture firms to co-produce these gatherings, and build durable relationships with those teams that deepen over time.
  • Comfortable around early-stage founders and investors, and ready to build relationships with top venture firms, starting with their events teams and growing toward their partners.
  • Experience helping design and run events that people actually want to attend.

Requirements

  • You can prototype an automation, reason about an agent architecture, and get into the details of a founder's stack without hand-waving.
  • You earn credibility with builders by being one, and you can explain and teach hard technical ideas clearly.
  • Comfort switching between hands-on technical work, operational execution, and strategic thinking in the same day.
  • Strong, hands-on proficiency with these tools is a requirement, not just knowing your way around them.
