Requirements
- Degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, biomedical engineering):
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
- Masters' degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in an experimental biology laboratory, including:
- Ability to plan and execute experiments independently
- Expertise in common laboratory techniques (e.g., cell culture, media preparation)
- Familiarity with standard safety procedures and sterile techniques (e.g., proper PPE, aseptic handling)
- Proficiency in human blood processing, including:
- Experience in handling and manipulating whole blood or apheresis-collected components (e.g., PBMCs, stem cells)
- Proficiency in T cell isolation from peripheral blood or apheresis products using both positive and negative selection methods, coupled with experience in T cell activation and expansion protocols
Nice to have
- Familiarity with FDA and EMA regulations and guidance concerning documentation, data integrity, and quality control systems relevant to the development and manufacturing process.
- Proficiency in the operation, programming, and troubleshooting of laboratory automation equipment (e.g., liquid handlers) and closed, automated cell therapy manufacturing platforms (e.g., CliniMACS, Rotea).
- Physical & Working Conditions
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (e.g., equipment, materials) and lift up to 5 pounds overhead.
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time while performing lab tasks, operating specialized equipment, using a microscope, and analyzing data/preparing presentations
- this includes the potential need to stand inside a robotic cluster for maintenance or intervention when necessary.

Compensation
- Salary range of $115,000 - $135,000 a year plus meaningful early-stage equity.
