About the role
- The Manager, Curriculum and Courseware, provides strategic leadership and oversight for the governance, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of all ground training curricula and courseware programs.
- The Manager establishes curriculum governance processes, training content standards, and courseware lifecycle management practices to ensure consistency, quality, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness across all ground training programs.
- courseware catalog for all fleet types utilizing platforms such as Computerized Pilot and Aviation Training (CPaT).

- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for curriculum and courseware modernization, ensuring alignment with operational objectives, regulatory requirements, and organizational growth initiatives.
- Direct and prioritize Subject Matter Expert (SME) activities, deliverables, and workflow to support curriculum development, regulatory compliance, and operational initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs) on all curriculum and courseware development, revisions, and enhancements.
- Partner with Atlas University (AtlasU) to ensure a high-quality, accurate, and user-friendly training experience for all end users.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Flight Operations, regulatory compliance, aviation training, curriculum development, courseware management, or instructional systems design within a Part 121 airline environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams, complex projects, or training program initiatives.
- Minimum 5% travel required
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Education, Instructional Design, Training and Development, Organizational Leadership, or a related field required.
- Advanced Qualification Program (AQP), curriculum development, or Learning Management System (LMS) certifications preferred.

Compensation
- $96,500 - $130,500 USD
- Competitive compensation will be offered based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity and other factors.
- In addition, a range of benefits to include medical, dental and vision insurance, employee assistance program, as well as generous paid time off, and 401K contributions are offered as a part of the total compensation package.
