About the role

  • The Texas Rangers are looking for a General Maintenance Technician to join our team!
  • This individual will work in partnership with other internal departments, City of Arlington representatives, vendors, tenants, and contractors to coordinate logistics, maintenance requests, and projects taking place on property and surrounding areas.
  • Duties include, but are not limited to, daily maintenance checks, general repairs, tool and supply management, periodic maintenance logs, and other assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

  • This role is responsible for the preventative maintenance, daily upkeep, and general repairs necessary to maintain Ballpark Circle, Choctaw Stadium, and surrounding in a clean, professional, and well working condition.
  • Maintain property maintenance certifications, permits, and logbooks necessary to meet all local, state, or government requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and move with large bulk items.

  • Ability to use hand tools and trades type tools.
  • Ability to walk, sit, climb, crawl, kneel, squat, bend and extend arms and legs fully
  • Ability to use hands to manipulate and effectively use tools and controls.

Nice to have

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Knowledge of general construction repairs to include but not limited to the following:
  • Acoustical ceilings
  • Overhead/coiling roll-up doors

Skills

  • Strong organization skills with an emphasis on maintaining regular records of maintenance and repairs.
