About the role
- Mix and tint paint using computerized color-matching systems to ensure accurate results.
- Assist with receiving shipments and replenishing merchandise.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and proper handling of paint products and materials.
Responsibilities
- As a Paint Clerk, you will work closely with the Department Manager - Paint, to deliver outstanding customer service while supporting the daily operations of the Paint Department.
Requirements
- Attention to detail and ability to mix paint accurately.
- Ability to lift and move paint containers and related materials.
- Experience in paint design and colour choices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills and comfort using computer systems.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the department.
- Opportunity to learn product knowledge and retail skills.
