About the role
- Our location in Princeton, NJ, currently has an opportunity for a Senior Customs & Trade Compliance Analyst.
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely and accurate response to Broker Requests for Information and follow-up to ensure resolution.
Responsibilities
- As directed by Supervisor/Manager, implement appropriate corrective actions in response to any findings in the Corporate C&TC compliance assessment.
- Provide analytical support related to CBP Requests for Information, Post-Entry Amendments and Prior Disclosures.
- Provide analytical support, as needed, for reporting price adjustments, royalties, etc. via the CBP Reconciliation Prototype Program.
- Act as subject matter expert regarding compliant import/export of goods and participate in and/or lead site/division projects related to customs and trade compliance.
- Applies advanced knowledge of import/export regulations and requirements to support business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required in Business, logistics/transportation, or another related field.
- Minimum 4 years of customs compliance experience and or international trade.
- Sound analytical abilities and attention to detail required.
- Must be able to travel up to10 %
- This employee must have the ability to analyze opportunities and make recommendations on options and/or alternatives to achieve divisional financial objectives.
- The proper balance between cost optimization and compliance must be maintained.
Nice to have
- Licensed Customs Broker or Certified Customs Specialist preferred.
