Serve as an evangelist, both internally and externally, for the industry and products they lead

They will lead the product development lifecycle of multiple products and position Werner as a leader in the broader transportation landscape.

10+ years of previous experience in a Product role
Previous technical experience, while not required is advised
Ability to make decisions and priority calls based on currently available information
Strong analytical skills and ability to run data queries to produce product related KPI reports and metrics
Ability to work independently and without supervision
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to constantly changing industry and company requirements
Ability to learn and understand technical concepts and tools necessary for their specific job duties
Time management skills and proven ability to work on time-sensitive deliverables
Previous transportation experience is highly desired
Self-starter with a hyper focus on KPI's such as adoption, revenue, retention, compliance, savings, etc.
Curiosity, creativity and willingness to break out of constraints or the status quo
Willingness to take risks, experiment and prototype in a rapid fashion
Strong leadership and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills
Great people skills and ability to collaborate and successfully work in teams
Ensures expected outcomes are understood and measurable

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required, Master's Degree is preferred

Manager Product owns operational success metrics, staffing plans, resource allocation, and product vision.
Clearly articulate the value proposition, vision and strategy of products under their leadership
Drive product innovation and excellence through strategic vision and planning activities

Have strong people skills and build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, team and cross-team members
Manager Product works with all levels of leadership from front-line users/customers through to the C-Suite ensuring that their products are feasible, viable, usable, and valuable.
