About the role

Responsibilities

  • Performs flight test installations and aircraft functional testing.
  • Assists with pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs maintenance and modification actions.
  • Plans, schedules and arranges own activities with the assistance of lead. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Requirements

  • Ability to work a variable shift.
  • 6 months experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations.

Nice to have

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant license.
  • 6 months of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
  • 6 months of 787 Program experience.
  • Familiar with Boeing Production System.
  • 6 months experience with Field/Flight Line Operations.

Compensation

  • $66,000 - $78,000​
  • $75,600 - $79,800​
  • Summary pay range level B: $66,000 - $78,000​
  • Summary pay range level C: $75,600 - $79,800​

  • Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking Associate or Experienced Flight Readiness Technician (Level B or C) to support the 787 Program Boeing South Carolina Delivery Center Operations Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on a Variable Shift!
  • This position will provide critical production support to the Delivery Center including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product quality.
  • Qualified candidates will perform routine final component installation and verification, as well as, systems operational functional validation testing.
  • Flight Readiness Technicians perform rework, modification, maintenance, preflight and post-flight checks for delivery.
  • The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
