About the role

Responsibilities
- Performs flight test installations and aircraft functional testing.
- Assists with pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs maintenance and modification actions.
- Plans, schedules and arranges own activities with the assistance of lead. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
Requirements
- Ability to work a variable shift.
- 6 months experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations.
Nice to have
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant license.
- 6 months of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
- 6 months of 787 Program experience.
- Familiar with Boeing Production System.
- 6 months experience with Field/Flight Line Operations.

Compensation
- $66,000 - $78,000
- $75,600 - $79,800
- Summary pay range level B: $66,000 - $78,000
- Summary pay range level C: $75,600 - $79,800

- Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking Associate or Experienced Flight Readiness Technician (Level B or C) to support the 787 Program Boeing South Carolina Delivery Center Operations Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on a Variable Shift!
- This position will provide critical production support to the Delivery Center including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product quality.
- Qualified candidates will perform routine final component installation and verification, as well as, systems operational functional validation testing.
- Flight Readiness Technicians perform rework, modification, maintenance, preflight and post-flight checks for delivery.
- The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
