About the role

Position Overview The Associate Accounting Analyst assists in the accounting, planning, reporting, and analysis of assigned business activity for the company.

This role performs GAAP-compliant accounting and controls for assigned areas and provides support to business partners in budget development and management.

Prepare required recurring analysis, including explanation of variances, for finance/business partners.
Prepare, review and process journal entries as required to accurately reflect financial activities for a given period.

Specialized Knowledge: General understanding of accounting principles and GAAP

Assist the business group in developing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts including gathering and sharing additional data in assigned areas, providing helpful trending (Prior year, actual vs. budget, etc.)
