About the role

The Accountant II position is part of the IPS Segment Accounting team reporting to the Accounting Manager.
include preparing monthly and quarterly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting and billings, cash application and supporting ad hoc projects.
This position offers strong exposure to the business and opportunities to grow into additional responsibilities over time.

Support intercompany accounting activities, including intercompany balancing and invoicing of intercompany billings.
Perform timely balance sheet reconciliations and reviews; investigate and resolve variances.
Support cash application activities, including researching unapplied or misapplied cash, and coordinating with AR/AP and local teams to resolve discrepancies.
Partner with corporate accounting and local entity accounting teams to resolve accounting issues and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.
Provide accounting and data support to the Operational Management and FP&A teams, as needed.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance accounting processes, controls, and close efficiency.
Help develop and maintain accounting processes and controls to ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.

Assist with internal and external audit requests by providing supporting documentation and analysis.
Protect confidential financial information and contribute to the overall objectives of the IPS segment through collaboration and teamwork.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (advanced degree or CPA preferred).
3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
