About the role
- The AGC Datacenter Operations (DCOps) team has a sharp focus on serving our U.S. Government customers and helping them achieve federal missions.
- Be at the forefront of the action in CO+I as part of our AGC DCOps team, the CO+I AGC organization, and the broader Microsoft AGC community.
Responsibilities
- A strong desire and capability to learn, grow, and develop new skills
- Understand the design and functionality of your datacenter
- Collaborate with the Operations and Design team to develop data center (DC) mechanical designs, starting from project conception to issue for construction (IFC) for new DC projects build outs and major infrastructure upgrades.
- Learn, live, and coach the One Microsoft culture and values.? Lead through change by bringing clarity, generating energy, and delivering success
Requirements
- Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) related technical engineering experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years related technical engineering experience
- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Nice to have
- Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering, or related field - OR Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related technical engineering experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years related technical engineering experience
