- Job Description Ingram Marine Group is seeking an Electrician to join our team in Paducah, KY.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the design, engineering, and procurement of electrical equipment and instrumentation systems
- Developing procedures and documentation for USCG approval for equipment upgrades for vessels per Subchapter M regulations
- Completing records and other documents from repairs
Requirements
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional people skills are also required prior to, during, and after the projects to assure customer satisfaction is maintained at a high level.
- Must be able to organize and prioritize large amounts of information and use information to align with customer service, operations, and engineering regulatory and company specifications.
- 3-5 years as a marine electrician
- NFPA 70E certification or the ability to obtain
- Must have the physical ability to transit all work environments for vessel and facility docks (i.e. lifting, climbing, confined spaces, maneuver hazardous areas)
- Attending routine staff, overhaul, ISAFE & project progress meetings as required
Skills
- A high level of knowledge of the vessels and vessel systems is required for this position.
- Ability to work with indirect reports, vendors, and processes across multiple areas
- Should possess the ability to cross functionally work with multiple department representatives to achieve common goals.
- A high level of knowledge of PLCs, AC and DC controls and systems is required.
