About the role

  • The Field Technician is responsible for installing, commissioning, supporting, and maintaining Sabanto autonomous systems at customer locations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform follow-up visits to resolve startup issues and provide additional customer coaching.
  • Document customer feedback and communicate feature requests and product improvement opportunities to the engineering team.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and installation records.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and customer support teams to continuously improve system performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Farm Equipment & Diesel Technology, Mechanized Agriculture, Electronics Technology, or a related technical field
  • Experience as a diesel mechanic, automotive technician, electrician, agricultural equipment technician, or similar technical role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to install, modify, and repair mechanical and electrical components, wiring harnesses, and related hardware.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 90%, primarily throughout the United States with occasional international travel.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Farming or agricultural equipment experience.
  • Experience operating agricultural machinery and precision agriculture technology.
