Job Posting Title: Physical Therapist II Location: Dallas - Hospital Additional Posting Details: Four 10 hour shifts with quarterly weekend needs.

Performs examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, intervention, and outcome in accordance with standards set by profession's national association, scope of practice and hospital policies and guidelines.
Supervises therapy aides, students and volunteers in order to maintain patient safety and regulatory standards.
Also informally supervises Staff Therapist Level I to support safe and effective patient care and professional growth.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience evaluating, treating, and developing rehabilitation programs for athletes and individuals with sports-related injuries.

An Individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in this group: 35-50 lbs.

Participates in formal and informal education of new employees, students, volunteers, and members of same and other disciplines.
Identifies opportunities to collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to enhance outcomes for patient care through individual patient care coordination as well as education and research activities.
Identifies opportunities and participates in professional development activities and shares knowledge with other staff members through formal and informal educational opportunities.
Seeks opportunities and participates in community activities, programs that benefit patients or programs that encourage wellness for our staff and the community.
