About the role

  • We are looking for a tech transactions attorney to join our legal team.
  • This is a strategic role with a mix of both internal- and external-facing responsibilities in an area of increasing importance and growth for Applied Intuition.
  • You will also have opportunities to expand your role as part of a small legal team in a high growth start up.

Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted partner to internal business stakeholders on legal matters critical to the growth of the business
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Finance, Product, Engineering, etc.) to lead key initiatives
  • Support activities related to IP, Product, and Compliance as needed
  • Create and maintain forms, playbooks, and training to improve consistency, execution speed, risk mitigation, and scalability
  • You will support Sales, Product, and Engineering.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience structuring, drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including software licenses, manufacturing and supply agreements, and strategic collaborations
  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active membership in one state bar
  • You must be willing to roll up your sleeves and be comfortable working in ambiguity.

Nice to have

  • Experience with some combination of law firm and in-house work
  • Familiarity with automotive industry, supply chain, or tier-1 supplier dynamics
  • Computer science or engineering degree

Compensation

  • at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits.
  • Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position.
  • For pay transparency purposes, the base salary range for this full-time position in the location listed is: $180,000 - $250,000 USD annually.
