About the role

  • Jupiter Power is an energy infrastructure company focused on the development, construction, and operation of battery energy storage assets in wholesale electricity markets.
  • The role offers hands-on exposure to battery storage project finance, including debt and tax equity structures, and close collaboration with internal teams supporting assets through construction and operations.
  • This role will be based out of our Houston, TX office and is subject to our Company's return-to-office policy which currently requires a minimum of three days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and update project finance financial models, including construction and term debt cash flows
  • Perform DSCR, liquidity, reserve, and restricted payment calculations
  • Support cash flow forecasting and scenario analysis
  • Loan Draws & Financing Support
  • Prepare and support loan draw requests for construction costs, interest, fees, and reserves
  • Support ongoing financing compliance and covenant monitoring
  • Portfolio Management & Analytics Support
  • Support portfolio-level financial and performance analytics across operating and construction-stage battery storage assets
  • Support analysis related to financing compliance, distributions, and capital allocation under guidance from senior team members
  • Help maintain and improve internal tracking tools, templates, and analytics used by the Portfolio Management team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or power project finance
  • Experience working with project finance financial models

Nice to have

  • Experience with battery storage and/or utility-scale solar projects
  • Exposure to loan draws, covenant compliance, or financing closings
  • Experience at an IPP, developer, infrastructure fund, advisory firm, or project finance lender
