About the role
- Matrix Video Communications is a Canadian audiovisual and media production solutions company that was established back in 1994.
- Some of our audiovisual solutions include videoconferencing systems, digital signage solutions, video walls, split-meeting room configurations, and more.
- This mid-level Installer position will be completing installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, terminating racks, mounting projectors, screens and video walls.
Responsibilities
- Perform cable pulls, solder, crimp and terminate audio, video and network cables
- Maintain daily communication with Scheduler, Installs Manager and Account Managers on status of project and task lists
- Company-provided work laptop and cellphone to support your work activities.

Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work on ladders and lifts
- Must be willing to work out of town, overnight travel will be required on a regular basis
Nice to have
- Minimum of 1 year of audiovisual integration experience
- Avixa CTS, CTS-I, Crestron, Biamp, Extron, QSC, Dante
- Any industry recognized training is preferred: Avixa CTS, CTS-I, Crestron, Biamp, Extron, QSC, Dante
Skills
- Ability to work and think independently and work under tight deadlines
- Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and signal flow for audio, video and control
- Troubleshooting, quality checks, servicing abilities, problem solving abilities
- Must be organized and detail oriented
