About the role
- This position is part of a "substitute" pathway in partnership with the school district.The Instructional Provider Sub can be assigned to various sites across a school district, depending on daily needs arising from staff callouts.
- It is the responsibility of the Sub to respond and commit to covering open shifts as they become available in a timely manner.
- As a California Schools Talent Collaborative (CSTC) employee, you will be placed at a school site as an Instructional Provider for an initial period of three months.
Responsibilities
- Implement effective classroom management, discipline and instructional strategies.
- Maintain frequent and regular parent communication and support parent involvement.
- Perform job related duties as assigned.
- While driving is not a regular requirement of this role, employees who operate a personal or company vehicle for work purposes must maintain a valid driver's license and current auto insurance on file with HR.
Requirements
- Must be available M-F for the entire shift schedule.
- Must be willing to travel to other sites to cover staff callouts.
- Maintain daily attendance sign-in/sign-out log and other records as required.
- Attend staff meetings/planning/training sessions on a weekly basis or as required.
- Reliable transportation is required to meet the needs of the position.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 48 Semester/60 Quarter College Units or pass NCLB test.
