About the role
- This position is for a Senior Firmware Engineer in Avive's R&D organization with proven experience architecting, implementing, testing and debugging embedded firmware from concept through volume production.
- This role's focus will on designing embedded systems with associated digital and analog peripherals, serial data communication, and wireless communication.
- This role will have active participation and in system integration, testing, and debugging of electronics PCBA level hardware.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, unit test, and debug applications in various software languages including C and C++
- Deliver design documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, code comments and clear testable codeExperience integrating firmware with embedded systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent combination of relevant coursework and job-related experience.
- 1-3+ years of experience
- Assist in software verification and quality assurance procedure development with the ability to effectively articulate perspectives orally & in writing
